Coilover, which one is the lower?

So I just bought a set of bbs rs for next summer and now Im searching for a set of coilover that go lowwww. So any suggestion from guys that are running slammed coilovers? At that time I think that D2 are the lowest Ive seen.

Buddy clubs are pretty good for the rear of the car getting low and decent for the front. Skunk c's are good for getting low In front. I wouldnt say there is a coilover out there for the fit that will make you slammed

HKS will get you the lowest. I have about an 1" in the front to go lower and about an 3/4" in the rear to go.

Not many people have HKS either. Skunk2 is probably best bang for your buck in lowness

hks are pricey, and might be harder to get cuz of their distribution network is all sorts of messed up right now.

So regarding quality/reliability the Buddy Club's are still the best in those categories?
I'm planning on coils eventually, but this is also my DD, and plan on driving it for many, many, many yrs to come, so I don't want to keep changing them out.

Also, after hearing the raving reviews of the Swift springs, any pro's/con's to swapping those springs to the coilovers? (seen it done on other car brands & coils, I think it was BMW or Lexus)

btw Fit4Trav several yrs later, and I still love the way your car looks!!! I wish I could do that Noblesse styling on my GE8!

whatever you go with will fail eventually. well the shocks will. they weren't meant to be used like that so they will blow and you'll have a shitty/bouncy (not that slamming a car makes the ride good)

im on skunk2's. all the way down in front and i modded the rear suspension to go lower.

im planning to go somewhat as low as you but im gonna daily drive my car. i've been hearing that the skunk2 pro c is really stiff and just better for the track, while as buddyclub n+ is better for daily driving and going really low.

i still want to be able to drive a little sporty, and occasionally canyon the car or something... so im really stuck in choosing which ones to go with

stiffer would theoretically be better for going lower. the softer the more likely you're going to bottom your car out.

also throw handling out the window when you slam your car. my car doesnt handle for anything now that it's really low.

I'm on buddyclubs and they're good. Enjoyable ride, and I'm about 2-3 inches off the ground in the front (maxed)"

I have already paid for a set of Buddy Club C/Os on the group buy that is now going on.. I need them for more ground clearance than I presently have with Swift springs... Part of the problem is duet to how much the rear end rose when I removed the rear seats and spare which also has also made the rear end of the car to skip out when driving fast in a curve on a washboard surface... Like solbrothers said, The lower you are the less suspension travel you have and the quicker your shocks will become worthless and the ride and handling will be horrible... It will also screw up your other suspension components, you could also damage the front lip, bumper and destroy your oil sump... I've personally done everything I described in the last sentence to a VW Rabbitt I bought new 30 years ago..

Stance w/ Swift springs will get you at a reasonable height.

skunks require you to mod the rear to go low and it pretty bouncy/uncomfortable for the first 10k or so. After that I felt it smooth out a lot. I really didnt like that the front could go so low yet the rear was super high.

I think BC racing C/O can go super low too. I seen d2s go super dumped but I personally am not a fan of d2s
