Aftermarket Shocks???

Does anyone make upgraded shocks for the FIT? I'm hoping Koni or Bilstein will come out or has listings for our cars.

Anyone know?

Sorry... other than coilover sets, which I'm not looking for, I have not seen any shocks/struts for sale. Maybe I've missed them?

I plan to use some stiffer lowering springs in conjunction with higher quality struts (shocks) along the lines of koni yellows and h&r springs.

A-J Racing sells the Spoon shocks. They are actually Showa units imported from Japan as a custom-order deal. They quoted me $700 for a set of four, with a one-month delivery time. And yes, they are a bolt-on replacement for the OEM shocks, struts, not coilover units. I plan to order a set on the new year to run in autocross, unless something else comes along.

Good news about Tokico. They are good shocks, tend to be quite firm in my experience, which might be good for auto-x but maybe not so good for a daily driver. We'll have to see. George02, what is your source for this info?

as far as i know, stuff from blistein, showa, and others are all meant for jdm. you need to change a few small bits for it to work for usdm. i am waiting for koni to get their thumbs out of their ass too for some usdm yellows...

since 2004, there are about 30 different sets since from different companies that offer nice suspension (adj. coilovers, and fixed dampers/springs) in asia.

....2 for na.
.......i am so pissed =.=

Dunno about the Tokicos, but A-J Racing told me they modify the Showa units to work on our USDM cars (the main task, I understand, is changing the swaybar attachment point).

Anybody interested in launching a Koni petition drive?

I would love to do a petition! the guys at a-j do some great stuff, but i'd rather have a usdm bolt on replacement.

sometimes you just don't have the money to throw down on some coilovers, and springs from eibach and h&r are high quality and NOT expensive. with some koni yellows, you'd still come out on top.
