Buddy Club n+ preload

Does anyone know the recommended length the front coilover spring is supposed to be compressed to?
I compressed the spring a fair amount (to be able to fit the factory length endlinks) but this has left the car with a really bouncy ride.

Should i back off the preload to just take up the slack and get some adjustable endlinks?

I need to replace my endlinks i think, where can you source the adjustable ones? The oem ones are longer, i have a clunking sound on full lock, and i think mine are damaged, was wondering where i could source the endlinks
Cheers
P.s i think you should let some pre load off the spring, try get the adjustable endlinks

bouncy? i'd say adjust your damping rather than the preload. i'me using the oem endlinks and my buddy clubs were at 12/15 clicks which were ridiculous on some of the north DFW roads and i went down to 8/15 clicks which is to my liking.

you can do this with the car on the ground, just turn your wheels to have easy access to the bottom of your front coilovers since they're on the very bottom.

(clockwise = stiffer) / (counter clockwise = softer)

the video did probably bring up an issue with my coils in that my preloads on my front are probably whacked. i'll have to check my springs out.

just do as the video says....If your having problems with CV's your too low and you joints are deteriorating at an accelerated rate or they just need to be changed because of normal wear.

Should i get the cv joint fixed first before messing with the height or.. Raise car then get cv fixed?

I have no more than a 1/4 turn of the spring adjusting ring on the drivers side and a little less on the passenger.. From the lightest dampening setting I first had them set at 12 then 7 followed by 3 which was at first great. After accumulating two thousand or so miles I set them up to 5... They are sure sensitive to temperature changes... Once you have the front struts setup right, the only adjustment needed is an occasional tweak of the damper valves... You may find it necessary to add a little height and preload if you find yourself a fat girlfriend that insist on being seen in your car.

Thanks for the input.
Im gonna ditch the oem links and source some adjustable one's.......trying to accommodate the standard one's is just too much of a hassle.

I just need to find a company that will ship to the UK. Any idea's?

I contacted the BC racing UK company, they have the short endlinks for £29.99 each. Not sure where you can source the adjustable ones. Mine came with my coilover kit but now they need replacing.
Need to order mine soon

Sounds like a good idea. I did notice that they are shorter than the stock one's.
I've found a few different adjustable end links for the fit, but non of the company's ship to the UK.
