I've got the 2010 Fit Sport, and it's coming up due for a brake job pretty soon. I've been thinking about getting the slotted rotors but I'm unsure of which will work best. Anyone had any experience with a certain brand that they like? P.S The pads I'm going to put on are Akebono's, if that helps

 

I have been doing some research myself lately. I do not have a single recommendation for you but...

Every knowledgeable person I speak to is telling me that slotted rotors are fine but the drilled versions are quickly becoming black listed. They crack. This is probably old news to a lot of people but i'm still learning everyday!

Please share which brand you go with and why you chose those.

Is he vehicle mainly used for daily driving? If so, I would maybe recommend some Powerslot rotors.

+1 for powerslot rotors

 

I researched the same a while back when I was upgrading. I have the Powerslot/Hawk pads set up on my other car. No complaints here... My Fit is all stock though... Works for me...

 

I'd go Powerslot with Project Mu, Hawk, or Ferodo pads. We are a supplier for all of these, so if you need a quote, feel free to PM me.
