Progress RSB new hardware

I just received my Progress RSB last week and am going to install it this weekend. I've noticed from reading old installs that the original hardware provided by Progress were Hex head bolts, although the hardware provided with mine is a button head style bolt. Just clarifying that the button head style bolts are better to use for this install, correct?

I know this has been covered a lot over the years in other threads but I just wanted some clarification and noticed that Progress must have changed the hardware that they provide with the RSB.

Yes everyone was switching to panducky I believe was the company providing button style Allen bolts. The hex heads that progressive supplied just tore the bottom of the rubber spring perch. The bolts you got will work just fine as long as the bolt is facing down with a nut on the bottom.

Perfect, thanks! Any concerns with how the spring sits after install due to the tops of the bolts?

No issues should be had with this style bolts if installed the with the button head bolt facing down (towards the ground) with either OEM or aftermarket lowering springs.
