Front Calipers GD1 measurements please

I own 3 Honda Beats (Honda Beat -) and and trying to develop a big brake upgrade using OEM parts, I am unable to find a Fit in Australia, we have the Jazz only. I believe the JDM Fit has 231mm front rotors, the Jazz 240mm. I need to confirm this and preferable get measurements from the caliper mount. I think the JDM Fit has 16CL14VN front calipers with 51mm piston but I am unable to confirm this. If anyone is able to help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks Eric

Thanks, I did look there without finding what I needed. I need measurements of the caliper mount. Originally my car has 213mm solid rotors. The Jazz 240mm will be too big and cause bad front lockup. I already have S2000 rear calipers and 260mm rotors on the rear.

Hmm. If it helps, Somewhere I was looking at a web page that happened to show all the cross references, it looked a lot like the fit parts crossed over to the Civic from the prior generation. (I think it was 2000-2004 or something like that.. )
The crossovers implied that the calipers and pads were the same on a bunch of the models, I bet only the bracket and rotor diameter is different.

Of course I have a 07 GD, so hard telling if that's a global thing, but honda does not seem to spend a dime on developing extra parts..

USDM (and presumably JDM) GD Fit front caliper carriers have a 140 mm mount center on a 100.4 mm bolt circle radius with a M12 x 1.5 mount hole. Hope this helps.

140mm that is the same as mine. Do they have 231mm rotors? How far from the centre are the bolts that the carrier goes on?

Thanks Eric

I was under the impression that the only difference between the Fit and the Jazz (other than the bigger bumpers and an Auto box instead of the CVT), was the badge.
Maybe I am mistaken.

From what I read, the JDM fit is a lower spec vehicle than the Jazz we get in Australia. One difference is the JDM Fit has 231mm front rotors the Jazz in Australia has 240mm. I believe the JDM Fit does not have indicators in the front mud guards. I am trying to confirm the front brakes on the JDM Fit.

Sorry. I was referring to the US Fit. Never had any dealings with the JDM version.

I don't know anything about the US fit. Do you know what diameter front rotors the GD1 US Fit has?

Thanks, looks like the Fit sold outside Japan is different to the JDM. We only get the Jazz in Australia. If there are any Fit here they would be grey market or private import.

I did some research it looks like 2009-2013 Fit have 262mm front rotors and JDM 2007-2008 have 231mm I am looking for info about calipers and mounts for the 231mm setup
