Does this kind give you better gas mileage or does it enhance the sound.

Also, are there instructions on how to put it in the Fit? (Does it require special tools.)

 

usually intakes add quite a bit of a whistle when the car is accelerating, for gas mileage, i'm not sure, but when i had an AEM cold air intake on my 96 civic hatchback, mileage went up a bit

installation should be a breeze, with basic hand tools and i assume just a 10mm socket, you'd be able to tackle the job no problem

 

No modification needed like cutting?

 

you might need to trim the fender liner slightly but nothing else needs to be modified
