The fiberglass is a little on the thin side and might be prone to cracking later as the handle gets used. The carbon fiber may be a better bet if it is thicker=more strength. I have had no problem with iKona, communication is excellement, he always gets back to me very quickly. Good luck to everyone else!

Like I said you will be refunded as soon as we get it back, and nobody else will get a garnish like this. I do admit we should have done a better job on that garnish especially on the sides. We say ready to install and we mean it. If anybody has a problem LET ME KNOW! Ill take care of it even if I have to send you a new one on donkey back.

Like I said. If you still want a badgeless garnish, keep that one, and well send you a new one, but let me know Ilovemyhonda.

And just to remind you the quality you should be looking for!

I sent payment for both the upper and lower garnishes, thanks iKONA!

Take your time buddy--my Ings kit still hasn't shipped so my car is still front bumperless...going to continue looking face raped anyway so the garnishes are hardly a concern until that is taken care of.

I've been waiting since Friday last week for the body kit...makes the replica Ings kit so tempting...would just have to slash my reinforcement bar...hmm.

I don't have pics to explain, but this should help everyone out:

Use a flathead and pry the two things off their hooks (the pull handle you use to close the rear hatch) and pull out the pull handle.

Using same flathead, push the little circles on the 2 clips next to the pull handle and pull them out.

Start pulling down and around to undo the inside panel clips.

Take off the wiperblade and the little piece to expose the 10mm nut.

Unclip the wiper motor harness, unbolt the 3 bolts keeping the motor secured.

Unbolt the 10mm nut on the outside to let the motor fall out (have one hand inside holding the motor and one hand unbolting the nut on the outside).

Remove the rubber wiper grommet thing outside.

Unbolt the main bolt keeping the existing garnish attached inside

Push the 2 black clips and 3 white clips up and out to push the garnish off.

Now take ikona's garnish, take off the washers/nuts he provides, slide all the screws into the holes. Make sure the rubber underneath the rear glass goes over or flush with the garnish. Don't let it get pinched. Use a flathead carefully to pull the rubber out if that happens.

Put the washers/nuts on tightly, I think they were 8 or 9mm. Put the red rubber protectors back on now.

Then put the big inside panel back on (press so all the clips pop back in).

Then reinstall the pull handle by just sliding it in til it clicks.

Boom, all done! Sorry I don't have pics to explain. I'll take pics of the shop manual instructions when I get around to it. Hope that helps!

I AM RAY put those stars on my hatch. It's a thing with Orlando Fits. Even though I'm back in Jersey, I like them because they're green and they will match my wheels pretty soon lol

Seriously though I like everything else on your Fit but the stars are out of place. Maybe it'll work with the wheels.

How are the mugen visors? I know they serve a simple function so there is not much room for them to not do their job, just trying to choose between Honda Genuine and Mugen...

lots of people think the stars are ***. I don't care lol. I just blacked out my taillights. That bright shit was killing me. It's all webbed with hairline cracks now up close. But far away looks awesome ;D

I like the Mugen visors, but I think when I have spare money to throw away, I'm going to get the JDM Access visors. Mugen is aggressive, and looks good, but I am feeling a cleaner meaner appearance.

Any pics of a *good* one from underneath, showing the handle inside? I'd like to see how well these Fit since that beige one was so bad.

Who the hell looks from underneath? The 5 nuts are screwed on tight, you aren't ripping my piece off no matter how hard you try. It may look iffy from underneath, but nobody gives a shit about that. Except you apparently. And the handle works just as it always did.

Yes I'm sure your piece is securely fastened. Hey, if anyone else gives a shit about what this thing looks like from underneath, I guess you should just shut up. Nevermind that you're gonna be staring that part of it in the face every time you actually open your hatch. I just wanted to know if it looked the same as the *sloppy* one in this thread. Trancedsailor has apparently answered my question. Do you agree iKona that this piece looks "iffy from underneath"? I was under the impression the fitment was corrected.

Actually when I open the hatch I don't look underneath? That's weird that you would. My fitment is better than the one that's ****ed up up there. Way better. If you want, I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow

You know, I'm sure when I open my hatch I do it more or less just like everybody else. And I'm pretty sure if you are looking forward as you do it and not staring off somewhere else, you will see that area under the garnish. No, I don't make a habit of checking out the area every time I open my hatch. And yes, I do care if it looks ****ed up from under there and I'm not afraid of being called weird for it a few more times. I am glad you are happy with your piece and I look forward to seeing pictures of it in the event you post some.
