You will need to jack up the passenger side of the car. I believe the only tools I used were 10mm and 12mm sockets and I think I also used a 12 mm combination wrench. Some kind of rubber-safe lube would also be good to get the exhaust off the hangers. I used a silicon lubricant spray, but dish soap will work well in a pinch.

Just sent a pm, hopefully I am not too late. I guess that's what I get for not checking back regularly to the forums.

Ya, I can't wait, estimated delivery date is on Monday, which is MLK day, which means I'm off of work. I have been wanting this exhaust for a while so when this price came up I had to have it.

I have had this exhaust on now for over 2 years now and am very happy with its response and tone, you can feel the car pull more. One thing I have noticed is the brushed aluminum pipe that is not chrome has gotten some surface rust but not alot, most exhausts will, and I try keep it clean, but it will not affect its lifespan imo. I let the car out to 5500 rpm today from 3-4th gear, windows down, So loud even the Honda gods can hear it I love having people looking for what car makes that kinda tone and then the look when the Fit goes by.

PS might as well store the silencer that comes with it, looks goofy and does nothing.

That sounds a bit unsafe....I don't feel like tugging and pulling at things under my car when its jacked up by a tiny jack Any way I could take the stock exhaust off and put the new one on without jacking it up? Is jacking it up really safe? I don't want to drop another $100 to get it installed...

go buy a couple jack stands for 20 bucks. They are good to have anyway. And you aren't going to be able to without jacking it up.

Alright, I'm gonna borrow my friend's jack stands. Thanks for the advice! Two more days until I can order!
