New wheels from sparco just hit the market

The FF-1 just made an appearance via tirerack's magazine. 15x7 +35 offset, 4x100.. perfect sizing for beefing up your tires vs. Stock, especially if you plan to drop about an inch.
No listed weight, but they gots speed holes, look pretty darned light for sure and come in 4 colors.
specifically only come in that size. Must have been made for miatas or somethin'.
150 buckos a piece on there, my main gripe is keepen em clean. The super thick paint, dirt just wants to stick in all its sexy grooves. If you wax em up or seal them semi-annually, you'd be worry free. Seriously, if yer in the market, check em out. I'm only putting this up cuz I cant justify buyin em for myself.

Extrapolating data from their other wheels, I would guess the weight is going to be in the neighborhood of 16-17 lbs.

They look good! really good!
I hope they are lighter than 16-17 lbs. I would expect a 16 " wheel to weight that, not a 15". It's ok for that price I guess.

You can run x8s, theyll be a little much on the tail end though, and you'd need, I think, the stocker +42 offset to maintain handlin. If you throw em on the tail I think youd be adding unnecessary drag via grip, but that could be worked around with less sticky tires, or stretching em. Adding grip on the front turns this car into a cornering machine, with yoko s-drives for shoes front-wheel drive feels like all-wheel drive and rain aint a thing.

Rays are expensive too, arent they?
If someones really going for performance I think the volk ce28s are still the finest stuff on the market.

That is a nice looking wheel and a great price I think!!

Rays are rather pricey but they are great quality.

Bringing up an olddddd thread.

Thinking about picking up a set of FF-1s but can't decide what color looks best. I got a 2012 Sport in Blue raspberry metallic. On stock height but thinking about lowering.

What color wheels y'all think matches or goes well with Blue Raspberry Metallic?

Out of what they offer, I like the white. Black makes the assembly look small in my opinion, the gray dont match, and bronze usually goes on slammed club cars and rally biz.
Also, this thread ain't old!

Bronze and gold wheels would be actively bad
Black or white would be fine.
IMO silver wheels look best, especially if you're not going to lower the car because it maintains a more OEM adjacent appearance

i agree about the black. I like white the most too. Might have to paint like the mirrors white to match 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was thinking silver might be too adjacent to OEM if I'm going to spend 600+ lol
i actually like the OEM style

If you like OEM, I recommend just sticking with OEM. Modifying a car just to do so when you've already got something you like is a good way to have regrets down the road.

Older sparco wheels, "Blue sensation". stock ride height, 16x7 added a whole lot of stability. I view the upgrade as a safety issue.
