Lighter weight tires for the Honda Fit (GD, GE, GK)

Obviously tire weight isn't the only criteria when choosing a tire but for a car as small as the fit and as light as the Fit, the tire's unsprung weight can be felt especially if you choose a 20 lb. wider tire.

These below are lighter options ranging from 14 to 15 lbs.

Combined with a set of lightweight Konig Helium 15X6.5 wheels, you would effectively reduce unsprung weight at each corner by 10 lbs.

I should say that the source for this information was gathered from tireamerica.com (and crosss referenced with Tirerack.com )

These tires are all rated as average to above average in the reviews.

In my case, dry traction is the single most important criteria. I don't do much snow driving, and I'm extra careful regardless.
