Coudn't you just get some spacers?

Yes you could. Depending on the size of the spacers sometimes extended wheel studs are needed.

I know on Eg Civics and Integras people run Hx wheels. They shave down the calipers for them to fit. The only real problem with high offset is caliper clearance.

BUMP!

I know, old thread But 13's have caught my interest (I blame Solbothers ) and I want to find out if anybody has had any luck getting these to fit.

I worked out you can run a diameter of around 21", that is 3" smaller than stock and gives you 1.5" of extra shock movement in the fender gap which might be enough to run whatever crazy width and offset you desire.

The question remains, has anybody been able to get 13's around the stock caliper?

Youll need to grind down the calipers. I dont know how much but deff a good amount.
If youre willing to do it go for it.

Only way Id pick up 13's for my Fit is if I found some nast wide ones. I dont even look for 13in wheels so..... yea, I wouldnt find any. Hahh!

Another problem with doing this is what size tires are you going to run?
13's arent really a common rim size now-a-days.

Pretty sure I posted about this, I tried some 13in steel wheels and they almost cleared the calipers. All rims are different though. So you wont know unless you bought the wheels and measured how much needed to be ground down.

Tire is easy

Hoosier makes an A6 and an R6 in 225/45/ZR13 that would be perfect

Also a street option:

I ment street wise. So thats one street tire? I know EdgeRacing has a lot of different tire options. Or at least they can get them.

215/50's arent too bad. Wide and the tire profile isnt too big. However itll still be a damn chunky tire due to a 13in wheel. Hehh
The 225/45's is a sick size. I wouldnt care if they were slicks/comp tires Id roll them daily!

you should do something that looks like this:

I havent tried to do 13's yet. But the only way Id run them is if they were 7in and wider.
And some nice offset as Ill need it for help clearing the calipers.
