What do you think Hootie?

Is the 30 = 30mm offset? if so it's going to be tight to the disc brakes.
Hootie is a member here and is a good source for offset.

No, it will not close to the disc brakes. Offset has NO relation to how close the brakes will be in proximity to the spokes. the face profile does, which is why companies like Work offer different faces or "disks" which change how the spokes curve or straighten to clear brakes or give deeper lips.

There is a guy on here TGIJoseph who ran 17x7 et28 in the front and 17x7 et30 rear, so yes 17x7 et30 will work. However, your tire will protrude slightly from the fender, possibly causing rub and or damage if you hit a bump while cornering. It will also look a bit silly.

Here's a pic of his for reference:

His is lowered quite a bit, which is why it doesn't look silly.

7" wide with et42 is recommend, but you can run et 38 without any issues. Just run a 205/40-17 tire and you should be just fine!
