Always liked the Volks but the 18s on the Fit looks too big. Reminds me of the Magnums and Chargers with 20s.

I think the 18's might be a little too big also. I really have been thinking about the weight issue too. I was looking at 17's but now I am thinking about 16's just because they are lighter. I was looking at the SSR type C's on tire rack. Only 11 lbs and another 21 lbs for the tires if you go with Yokohama's Avid H4s. That's only 32 lbs a wheel/tire combo. Everything else I have looked at are at least 15-25 lbs for just the rims.

Does anyone know the weight of the OEM rims on the sport?

I am looking for looks, but better performance/ fuel economy as well.

Really, is it "bumpy" at all, especially with lower profile tires one would think the ride quality and "smoothness" would decrease...

oe wheels/tires were 35lbs on my bathroom scale. didnt get a chance to weight the new ones yet. they were cheap so I am guessing they are more than the old ones but not by much and might be the affect on gas mileage I have had. seems like I am only averaging 30-32mpg

Thanks for the help. Those new wheels might be the cause of killing your gas mileage! I can't believe the old tire/wheels are only 35 lbs. even if that is only on a bathroom scale that is pretty light. Looks like if I want to keep the gas mileage the same I will have to go with some light weight rims!

Here's my base Fit with new 14 x 6 Borbet CA's, Honda dealer-installed fog lights, and California Fast Flames (from www.magneticflames.com). It's a different look, but I'm the only one I need to please, and I'm quite happy with it.

Side Mouldings are a European Jazz Dealer option. Come in black but you can have them painted in body colour.

As to the graphics, they are 'hand' cut by myself!

I now have 2000 miles on the car and 50% of that has been up and down a twisty mountain road to/from work. The car is at stock height w/ stock suspension and I have not experienced any rubbing at all.

Again... 15x7 Konig Rewind wheels, ET40, w/ 205/50x15 Fuzion ZRi tires.

Thnx for the update. Anyone running these dimensions on a lowered Fit? I wonder if the fenders need to be rolled a bit.
