Are you getting rubbing on the inside front or just on the tops? I was thinking of going to 215/45/16's with a +42 offset and was told I should clear...

The car doesnt rub much anymore. Just a little over hard bumps/dips.
I pulled the fender linings out and tucked them over the fender lips (which are metal) I then rolled the fenders a bit.

All the rubbing came from the tops.

Those are old pics. I refinished the wheels. Click in my sig.

Just bought Falken Hanabi bronze rims...only 4 autoX...pictures!!!

i know its a big pic, i was lazy to resize it...picking them up tomorrow and will put them on...these are for autox only though i have to buy another set of shoes for daily driving other than my stock alloys even though they look fresh i want a 3rd set of rims...my co-driver and i split the price on these by half and then in the long run i will just break him off and they will be mine fully, but since he is driving my car for the autox season we needed these bad cause the dunlops are getting chewed up...
Our choice of tire is Falken Azenis 205/50...hoping to get some good autox pics for my second event which is this sunday...i also have the F/R strut bar from GTspec...i am waiting for the rear one to come in so i can just put both at the same time, but they wont be on my car for the event, but for now the car has a wider tire and better grip so i am looking to get faster times...will have pics with rims installed by tomorrow or Saturday

Nice choice of wheels...did you get them from edgeracing?

Please take a bunch of pictures from different sides and angles...I'd really like to see how they look on the fit.

Thumbs up Falken Hanabi rims just put on...205/50 no rubbing!!

phone pics

i will get some day pics, but here are the rims put on and the combo with tires, rims and springs are great...NO RUBBING!!!
i have skunk2 springs and drove the car with the radio off so i can try to hear anything...from what i know its just fine...the offset on these rims are 42. these are for autox only, but at least my car will look good on the course...i am very pleased with skunk2 springs cause now the car looks like it should ought to look the right rims and tires and the right drop...i will be getting a 3rd set of rims and tires with the same set up maybe rims with a lower offset like around 38 for daily driving
enjoy

BTW trip out on the orange Gallardo on the lift...my baby gets 1st class service

Hey Fizzle, it looks really nice! I dig the color. It would look good with red painted front calipers . Some pics the rear doesn't look low enough, but not sure yet.
The tires are the fizzle though, good choice!

You're looking at the only time a Fit will be even with a Lambo.

Don't worry-- you'll always beat him at the pump.
