rcantu's car

This isnt my car, but I found it on another post. The car belongs to rcantu and it is an early version of his car. His current set up looks nothing like this. This is on stock suspension with 17x7.5 +45 rims. It looks like it might rub...

I did a little more searching on the forum and found some more pics. Again these are not pics of my car.

This car belongs to TeamEMC and he is rolling on 205/40R17 wheels. He also has 4 stock tires in back. They do rub.

This next pic belongs to Amageus and he is rolling on 215/45/17 wheels. They rub as well.

Rather than shave down the mounting face, the easiest way to stop the rubbing is to roll the lip inside the fender upwards. A good tire shop should have the right tool. I had 205/50/16s on my car with the same problem. After rolling the rear fenders I no longer have the problem.

Sweet!!

I might finish of my exterior look with a Seibon CF Hood and Hatch in a few weeks. The look of the car is gonna flow so nicely, dark gray and black all over.

Yeah I couldn't imagine the hasle of being afraid of scraping the front lip and side skirts all day. Besides, I actually think the sport's "body kit" throws off the sharp lines the Fit has around the bottom of the car.

I dunno, I just really like the clean look without a big body kit to attract all the attention.

man, your Fits seem to be low for a ''1.5 drop, and its a base. Cant imagine my sport in our streets when I put the GF's on.
anyone has some info about this; if skunk2's actually are lower than 1.5''?

Those look really good. I just ordered a set of 16x7" flat black slipstreams with 205/45/16 tires. I will post pics when I get them.
