THE FORMER photo post
Nice wheels everyone.
I have an anal retentive question:
At what point or size (of rims) does the speedometer start giving inaccurate readings?
The stock sport wheels are 15" and the HFP wheels are 16", does this mean Honda recalibrates the speedometer or is it not necessary?
Also, if the speedometer is off, by how much?
Thanks in advance and keep them Fits clean.

lets say the stock size is tire/rim is 195/55/15 (15"x6" rim) the same outer diameter of the wheel of a 16"x7" rim would be 205/45/16. The middle number sort of represents the height of the tire from the rim (its not exact because its a ratio of 2 measurements). The correct size tire for a 17"x7" would probably be 205/40/17.
195/55/15 outer diameter = 23.44 inches or 595.37mm
205/45/16 outer diameter = 23.26 inches or 590.80mm
205/40/17 outer diameter = 23.45 inches or 595.63mm
all of these tire sizes are within 1% of the stock size resulting in a very minimal change to the speedometer.
I used the calculator here at 1010tires.com

16x7 Polished Rota Slips on SSM =)
16x7 +45 offset polished rota slips on 205/45/16 Pirelli Pnero zero tires
After a quick run around the block, rubbing on the front, so far none in the back, but it was just me driving. The rubbing comes from my front end being so slammed I'm sure. I snapped a couple of quick, crappy pics in the rain..
btw I need to repolish these wheels but I wanted them on the car asap..so yeah they're not in the greatest looking condition.

comments/questions welcome..but I haven't really gone out driving with them though, just down the street and back

yeah I'm dissappointed in the front wheels rubbing along the fender lining.. not the actual fender itself. I think I may opt to get different springs that don't lower the fit as much so I won't have this as an issue.. I love my drop though and never had issues with the stock 15"s =(
sure thing bro, im liking what you've been doin to it.
anyways 2 bad for the rubbing, im betting its the drop. you could get a /40 series tire or get a new set of springs as you said, that dont drop the advertised ''1.6 T1R say they drop on the front. G.L.
