I think black lugs would be like a cleaner look, i was going to go with blue for like a JDM look but im not sure it would look to good with a black car and bronze wheels
|
I think Gunmetal would look awesome. Gold rims always remind me of Subarus because of their WRC cars. I would pair the Gunmetal wheels with black lugs. Black would blend in too much I think. The Gunmetal colour will complement your NHBP nicely without drawing your eyes directly to the rims...it will round out the look of the car IMO...

i've ordered my slips in bronze, and it's going onto a MR fit. I've always had a thing about red/bronze.
on a black one i don't think they look good at all. i'd stick with gunmetal. |

Any Help Fitting My Shoes?
Hey guys,
I am still waiting for my Fit (Storm Silver MT! Should arrive in a month!) but I am looking for wheels. I found some nice ones but the guys who's selling them doesnt know much about them and neither do I. He said they have a 4 X 114.3 bolt pattern and the Width is 6 inches. They weigh about 15 lbs. I was wondering if they would fit, and if in fact the standard tires would fit on them. Any help would be great! Thanks alot! |
The Fits bolt pattern is 4x100.

Anybody want to help a wheel novice?
This may be a ridiculous question, but I have never purchased aftermarket wheels before and wanted to get everything straight. My buddy has some wheels that he is selling and I think they'd look great on my Fit but the bolt pattern is 4x114.3! Is there any way to convert them, or modify anything to make them fit my Fit?
|
Anything is possible with enough $$$. Just find youself wheels with the proper fitment and save a bunch of headaches.
|
can you get me a picture of them. i deal with wheels first hand. so I need to see a pic of the hub to tell you if they can be done. (the face side)
|
Try a technician at H&R as they do offer wheel adapters for converting bolt patterns.

gimme sent me this... (sorry i screwed up the quoting deal)
"Re: Wheel Novice Questions okay, depending on the wheel. they can be dual drilled. if someone wants a 4x100 and all the wheel manufacturers has are 4x114.3, they just dual drill them. usually costs around $10 per wheel to do. I want to see the wheel itself to see if it is even worth doing" So then I sent him this pic [img=http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/9148/wheelyb1.th.jpg] and he sent me this back. "Re: Wheel Novice Questions unfortunately you cannot dual drill those ones. there is also a procedure they call "fill and drill" they weld in the holes and re-drill them to whatever you want. that runs about $40 a wheel. might just be better to find other wheels. Sorry. so I'm back to the drawing board...but thats good information to know!" Thanks to everyone for your help and especially gimme! |
So that wheel will not work.
|
Yea,
we came up with another option, but that didnt work either! I'll keep my eyes open... |
