Try 16x7" rims +38mm offset 205/45-16 tires lowered on Tanabe GF210 No rubbing Note: +35mm offset will rub in the rear. |
What do you reckon?
I'm in a bit of a dilema.
See I'm still undecided on alloys wheels at the moment. I've contacted a seller on eBay who lives local to me and he said he's got a set of these rims in mighty condition. Pre-facelift Sport Alloy wheels. http://www.autozone4cars.com/Autozon...es/RK53VJU.jpg I was thinking of purchasing these for like £75GBP (~$147USD) which I can then get them resprayed and painted for like an extra £150~(~$300USD) So that they'll look like these = https://img171.imageshack.us/img171/...01632apka7.jpg So a total of roughly about £225 (~$450USD) Or I can buy a set of these INOVIT 16" http://www.inovit.com/products/images/stvi_b.jpg Thing is, they're gonna set me back £500 (~$1000USD) plus the cost of tyres as well. Which is quite a lot considering I'm only 19 and a student. Oh btw, whichever ones, are to be fitted to a NHBP Jazz. |
the resprayed sport alloys look nice on the white fit but i'm not so sure that I could say the same if they were on a black fit. i think white wheels on black cars look kinda funny. maybe if resprayed them flat black wiith the red 'H's on the center caps. I think that would be dope. as for the INOVIT's I wouldn't pay $1000 for those.

You reckon white looks weird on Black?
I dunno, I think it's a nice contrast as the same goes for black on white. https://img213.imageshack.us/img213/5337/dsc04193cg.jpg |
Some feedback would be nice especially with 30 views on the page.

I say get the stock alloys and keep them the way they are.

Help with rim decision >.<
Ok guys, I'm looking for a set of rims in 15x5.5-16x7 (I wanna mount something like a 195/55 or 205/45 for summers)
So far on Tirerack the only thing I've found that comes close within my price range is the Kosei K1 Racing which isnt exactly the style i want. the Kosei K1 TS is the style I want but the 17 is too big and expensive while the 14 is too tiny (though it's amazingly light just 10 lbs) The SSR Type C 16x6.5 is the PERFECT match ... except for the price I was hoping some of you would know of a good compromise for me, ive looked at every rim on the upgrade garage for the 07 fit but havn't found one that matched what i wanted. I'm just looking for a 15x5.5-16x7 which is 5-7 spoke (solid or ones with double-single spoke style) which hopefully is under 15lbs but id accept up to 17lbs. is this so much to ask ?? I've seen a couple cars with the Kosei K1 TS in 17s and some in the SSR Type C 16x6.5 and they are HOT. I may just wait and save up some money for those wheels if i cant find a cheaper alternative. Anyways any input is welcome guys, as I'm in canada and winter has just started there's still a couple months before I'm gonna make a final decision and purchase the rims so I'm not really in a rush, just kinda wanted to get a head start on the process. |

15x7 +38mm Kosei K1 TS
Will these rub ??
They arn't on the upgrade garage under the fit section but they're the same size as the K1 Racings which are listed for the fit, only difference is the offset 45mm vs 38mm. ive looked at a number of other wheels and their sizes and it seems that it shouldn't be a problem but i want a second (third fourth ... etc) opinion on the subject. Also what do you guys think of a gravity cast wheel which only weighs 14 lbs with regards to strength ?? i think 17s are a bit too big and as far as i know these koseis arnt available in 16s |
Well just picked them up. Pretty damn good condition! Only downside is the towards the centre it's bubbling a bit. But I'll get that sorted.
Now to decide on what colour. |
make sure to post up pics when you get them on.
|
I've just done a quick photoshop on my car with the white alloys.

LX steel wheels on Sports?
Hi all, new to here. Do the LX steel wheels fit on Sports model?
|
Yes. Brakes, suspension, etc. are all identical.
|
Thanks for the info. I have a set of snow tires in the same sizes and see if that will fit into my coming new Fit.

Questions on wheels and Opinions needed
A few questions regarding rims for the Honda Fit Sport;
What is the weight of the stock Honda Fit Sport 15" wheel - I've heard 15lbs and 17lbs? Will the stock Fit Sport tires fit on an aftermarket 15"x6.5" wide rim? I have a storm silver Fit sport and these are what I'm looking at; 15" Rota Auto-x in Gunmetal http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...x_gunmetal.jpg 15" Rota Battle in Gunmetal http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...1937_127874869 15" Konig Helium in Bronze http://www.konigwheels.com/images/138_b.jpg Opinions would be appreciated. Also if anyone has any pics of the Fit with these rims or photoshops, that would be cool Thanks in advance |
I think the stock rims are 15lbs.
Yes, the stock tire will fit a 15x6.5 Look in the "show your wheels" thread for pics. I've got the silver Heliums :D |
