Black Motegi Racing RT5

Hi All,

Been reading up on all the good things about the Honda Fit on this website. Actually planning on getting one this weekend. Just wondering if anyone knows if these are good rims? My friend bought this same brand but different model for his xB and seems to do the job. Everything seems to be the right offset for the Fit too since i read it up in one of the forum post. Open to hear what any you got to say about these rims. Thanks!

they do have 16" but it's for the 99 civic...which should supposedly fit...still have lotsa net-surfing time for rims since my car not here yet...lol

I too have been staring at that photo for my forthcoming black Fit!
I haven't found any weight stat for that rim. I am leaning toward Rota rims now and am interested in gold and bronze. The Flik Fuel is available in red:

and the Kosei K1 TS is available in a loud orange-red.:

and of course the Auto-X by Rota:

have fun surfing!

There are only four lug nuts on the fit anyways, correct me if i am wrong anyone, but you may have to get them to custume fit the Fit. Check out EdgeRacing.com or Tirerack because they have rims that fit the car because you can choose what car you have. Edgeracing has excellent prices to.

Actually, like a lot of aftermarket wheels, this one looks like it has a lug pattern that allows them to sell one wheel that will work on both 4 lug and 5 lug cars. Depending on what kind of setup you have, you line your studs up with the holes that match your pattern.

FijiSi06 05-18-2006 01:23 PM

the fit uses a 4x100 lug pattern and a 55mm off set, so when youre looking for 17's look for a 40-45mm offset range and a 205 40-17 or a 215 40-17 tire. 45 series sidewall may be too big and throw off your speedo
On those particular rims i will say motegis are VERY heavy. I would look elsewhere if it where me.

Illusive 05-18-2006 01:50 PM

I'm not digging Motegi wheels, they are quite heavy. My friend has those wheels in white on his Protege 5, I think they look OK, but I still prefer his old Axis wheels.

Thanks for all the input

Thanks on all your input i'm diffently gonna make sure i get the correct rims size.... Now back to square one on finding that right shoe....Also can't wait planning to go Fit Sport shopping this weekend. :D Also any suggest on brand and model for rims? Thanks advance.

Ah Ed 05-19-2006 01:24 AM

is a +40 offset ok? cuz i'm quite liking those rota wheels haha
i think i have to start saving for a set lol
can anyone photochop the pic with those wheels?

Whatever you look at, this visual comparison calculator can be useful in sizing up the changes from stock to your choice:
