I was reading in the post above that using a wider tire can lower fuel economy, but increase handling in the fit. I'm not auto-x or nothing like that but just curious as to what size tire I can use on a 15" wheel. On my civic I run a 205-50-r15, and was wanting to put that on my fit. My friend thinks they may be too wide, any suggestions? Oh further I am not planning on lowering the fit as it is my wife's and she wouldn't want it any lower than stock height. Just wanted something that might close in the wheel gap without lowering the car.
