Stock Wheel Weight

Does anyone know how much the stock 15" sport wheels weigh? I'm looking for a new set of wheels for street/track that weigh less... and want to know stock weight for planning.

Too bad the Mugen NR wheel weighs so much at 16.5lbs. It is the same as stock so you don't gain any performance, but you don't lose any at least. (cost $295ish)

The Enkei RPF1 in 15x7 is only 9.5lbs which would make a big difference being 7lbs lighter. (cost $200ish).

My other choice would be a Volk CE28 which I hear is approx 7lbs but cost alot more.... approx double the Enkei ($400+)

If anyone knows of other light wheels that I should consider please post up

RPF1 for the win. the only time i have seen any problems with the RPF1 was under some extremely heavy track work with brake calipers that barely cleared the wheels. i honestly can't believe that there are wheels that combine the level of weight, strentgh, and low price that these do.

The RPF looks real nice in 17"... I'd personally go with 15" to get the reduction in rotational weight. But on the other hand I may go up to 16" in a forged wheel for track duty.

A friend of mine just measured a 2008 Fit Sport rim (with the TPMS valve stem attached) on a VERY accurate scale at his work.

17.45 pounds.

Thanks for the help! Good info for everyone to have. Good point also that depending on the year that the wheels may have different weights. Especially since the 08's have the TPMS.

I'd see a good performance gain going with an Enkie 15x7 that would weigh approx 7lbs less.
