15 or 16?

Hello, all.

Here in FEB I am going to order the Buddy Club p1 racing wheel in white. Just curious if anyone is having rubing with the 16s. Let me know!

. 16" look the best on the fit.
you wont have issues rubbing with the 16" rim. unless your slammed to crap, which i doubt.

Man, that's a highly opinionated statement. If you're going for the oldschool look, the 15's are as big as you need to go, but I can't think of why 16s would rub unless you go for the big tires.. especially in the rear. And SD_MR is right; you'd have to be lowered a bit for any issues.

meh.. i guess you could say that is a highly opinionated statement. isnt that what he asked for? even old school, i think 16" rims would still look right.

old school rims dont really look that great on our cars exept the mesh style.(which has been proven by mx6gt89) but even then if he had 16's i think they would look just as good, if not better.

i love old school rims, the 4 spoke ssr( dint look good with the fit) and all the bbs line of meshes.

we have BIG wheel wells that we should fill in. even dunking a car, the wheel well still looks huge. i mean its not like the integras/ civic hatches that look great with 15" rims. most 4 doors rock bigger rims, becuase its generally a bigger car.

15's for some reason look too small for the fit.

i like the 15's on this car for street, and run 195/50 size..i'd prefer a
7.5" width wheel but couldn't find a cheap one locally. currently running
15x7's with 40mm offset.

So what would be the appropriate tire for a wheel that is 16X7 with a offset of 42? I am sure there is more than one...I guess I shall say, what would you recommend? Also, does anyone know where I can find the Buddy Club P1 with a wheel and tire combo?

205/45-16 is a good size for 16x7. i had those on my rotas and they only rubbed in the front when i hit larger bumps. my rotas were 16x7 with a 40 offset

what are you going to lower your car with. coilovers, springs?

when i was running 16x7 42 offset i did not rub once with my tein s-techs.
even when im running 17x7x5 with a 45 offset i am not even rubbing.

205/45/r16 is what tire size i had. if you stay within specs, you shouldnt rub at all.

if you go with 16x7 you'll be ok if you dont go more than +40 (or is it less? o_O i dont know...) im running 205/45s on a 16x7 +42 wheel and im not rubbing with a finger gap drop (cause i have no clue how much the springs dropped inch wise).

hahaha

here are some sizes that appears to fit without rubbing:

15x6.5 wheels with +38 195/50/15
15x7.0 wheels with +40 195/50/15 (doesn't rub on mine)
16x7.0 wheels with +40 to 45 205/45/16
17x7.0 wheels with +40 to 45 205/40/17

on the rear i think you can run +35 and still not rub if you're
running 195/50's.

add 15x7.0 wheel with +43 offset 205/50/15
no rub
