those tires are gonna have some small sidewalls. it will run your speedo off a few mph and run the miles on the odometer up a little bit faster. 205/50/15 is closer to stock tire size. it shouldnt rub if you have stock suspension but if you ever lower it, it could be a possibility.

considering my 15x7 +40 running 195/50/15 falken 912's dont rub,
im pretty sure your app would work...but use all season tires (tires
with small shoulders).

high perf tires have bulky shoulders and will probably rub. don't
to any wider than 195.

im going to push out my rear wheels out 5mm (will be +35mm)
when it gets warmer.

ehhhh +36 is cutting it close. For example, if you go up to 17's I had +42's and rubbed while another member had +45's and didn't rub...that extra +4 can make or break the setup...it'll all come down to your tire tolerances...

Im lookin at getting konig rims that are 15x6.5 with a 40mm offset. Will that work with 195/55/15? Thats the recomended tire size that tirerack.com told me would fit so i assumed that there would be no issues?

For 15x6.5 rims

195/50/15 tyres are the best option to go!

Also +35 or +36 are the best offset to choose from! No problem with rub and caliper clearance! Also more aggressive look than +40 plus offset

it should fit good even if you're lowered pretty low.

Not to thread jack but if I wanted to reuse my 195/55 stock sport tires with 15x7 +35 wheels on stock suspension would that work? Rubbing?
