What an awesome thread!! Big thx to Illusive for setting this up. I've been searching high and low for this info and FINALLY after reading this I think I can confidently put my money down on the following setup (still running stock 15"s on my '07 Sport!):

16 x 7 Rota Grids (bronze or gunmetal (?) with polished lip)
Offset 40mm
205/45R16 Falken 912's

I've read other threads saying how the offset should be higher with that type of rim width....but it seems a lot of folks are getting some degree of rubbing on numerous other setups anyways! I'd venture to say - at least in this thread - the above setup hasn't led to as much rubbing as some others.

Will post final setup and pics when the new kicks are on!!

im sure its ball seat, so if you use 09s on a GD you can use stock lugs

Lowered?: Yes
If Yes, What Setup?: Swift lowering springs
lugs: Gorilla lug nuts anodized red
Front Rubbing: Slight rubbing only when going over big bumps / dips
Rear Rubbing: None
Comments: Swift lowers the front a good deal but not so much in the rear. Expect rubbing in the front with any 16" setup I suppose. I was sur prised to see that 16x7 Konig Heliums are almost flush with the fender, very satisfied with the look.
