rotas are all i can really afford... i would never spend 3g on rims/tires anyways... esp on a $15k dollar car... that runs 17s...

in my opinion volks are the most overrated wheels in the world... granted rotas are way played out ill give them that... but in no way shape or form is 3 grand worth the 12 lbs ill lose from all 4 wheels

A little preview because my camera batteries died after I put the wheels on lol. Got em from Japan last week. I love the old school look and the SSR Formula Mesh holds a lot of sentimental value to me. Took a while to find ones in 4x100 with a high offset but it was worth the wait. And its good to have a friend who can bid for me on Yahoo Japan auctions tee hee .

Can't wait to change the tires already. The 195/50/15 Dunlop Direzzas are really noisy (buzzy?) and the size just isn't for me (going 205/50/15 when I can get new ones). Oh yeah, gotta lower the Fit . Four finger gap FTL.

I'll get pics with the wheels on the car soon...

great post, i totally agree. the only design i really like from volks are the ce28's and konig makes a really nice replica that doesn't cost and arm and a leg and it doesn't weigh a ton either.

sd has a point, yeah they do hold their value better, but if i ever sell my aftermarket wheels, it won't be a big deal wether they have held their value or not.
