Those are just the mid to low range wheels that are not played out, and thats only a few. Theres a ton of more higher end stuff thats really far from played out.

-rota d2. only see i think 1 fit that has it. and he is somewhere outside the usa.if you can afford the real work meister s1 go for it.

-enkei j speed 3. havnt seen those on a fit. but i know they will look good since they are 5 spoke. if you can find a replica for those go for it.
rarely see those on a car.

-carving starks rennesport rc or just the normal ones(all time favorite wheel) i know ray(mxgt89) has replicas so they have them somewhere.

-advan rg of course. even the rg2 will work.

rg seen 3 fits including mine, rg2 seen only 1 and thats itsryu.

so theres a few i can name. all of those should have replicas...since your saying you want rotas/drag/ssk. they are out there.

my three favorite rota wheels are d2,c10,and auto-x.
im actually thinking about running the auto-x for my daily driving because there is too much road construction going on in my neighborhood. but if i could afford it, i would rock the d2's in a heart beat.

I have 17's and the only problem I ever have is if I have a full car and got over a lump or a a big lower section of road that then jumps up again ie... rail road tracks. I rub in the back.

im rocking 17's. the problem is you MUST be slammed to make them look nice. otherwise they will look big. but if your slammed...then it will look "right"

but i love 16's.

i paid 1800 total.

i ended up trading the guy for a set of gsr blades that i bought for 400 +1400 cash.

i personally like the feathers, and if you like ANY of those wheels, then get what YOU want.

As far as wheels being 'played out' goes, someone, somewhere will have done what you have done. Just because they are not a member of fit freak, or posting up their pics on the internet doesn't mean its not out there.

don't get a seldom-seen wheel just because its seldom-seen. Get a wheel that you love!

but what if he finds those wheels ugly? ( i know i personally do.)

is it worth being 'different' at the expense of a wheel you personally are not happy with?

When you say you see certain wheels all the time, is it cause you see a lot of fits driving with them? or just hondas in general.

Personally, i'm hard pressed to see even civcs or integras rocking some of the 'played' out wheels you mentioned, maybe i just live someplace where people are spread out a bit more.

around here, i could rock bronze konig heliums and be the shit because no one else would have them. but even if i really liked those wheels AND everyone had em, i'd still rock em because I love them, and thats what matters.

I would choose the feathers. I really don't like the other 2 styles. I run 17s on my car and am lowered on progress springs. No rubbing issues but i haven't loaded people in the back yet. I think im the only one rocking these. They are a bit on the heavy side I believe. Made by ADR which I think is so so. I've only ever seen one car with these wheels and they were on a Civic next to where I work. I don't see those wheel on that Civic anymore. Mine are gunmetal but I want to get a set of gold wheels for my VBP. Like everyone says though go with what you like. Everyone has different preferences of style.

Check out Gram Lights, SSR, Enkei, Wedsports, Buddyclub. Most of these are pretty affordable, not played out and not fakos for higher price rims AME, VOLKS, Mugen etc.

I would defenitely say go for the SSR Professors, if i could afford them then i'd have set already. Those aren't played out. Also look into axis. Like the OG-SAN or the OLDSKOOL. So look into those. I'd prolly still with 15 or 16. 17s are a little too big for me

anything is possible
After looking at the wheels again today i think i'm going to end up ordering the OG-SAN in the Gold because everyone around here does the chrome thing. And i think that the gold on red would be pimp. So if i can make them fit without any issues i think thats what i'm going with
