First post. New GE8 Sport w/ MT owner. Taffeta White. Love the little guy!!

I'll be putting on some 18x7.5 +43 next week. 215/35-18 will match the OE overall diameter perectly but the offset will be pretty aggressive in the front so will need camber adjusted and probably rolled fenders. Lowering on coilovers.

Also, I see a lot of references to offset on this forum but without any reference to width. Lots of confusion and some unintended misinformation. The front spacing (and back spacing) depend on the COMBINATION of width and offset (and tire stretch). For example, a +45 on a 6.5 width is 1/2" less aggressive than on a +45 on a 7.5. Centerline in same spot but 1/2 of the 1" width increase is farther inboard and 1/2 is farther outboard so much more aggressive. Be careful just going off offsets. You need to know width and offset and tire width helps if you're stretching, going straight or going bulgy.

ZERO rubbing.....no matter what. Hard corners fully loaded, full turn hitting bumps, etc. I have never rubbed a thing with this set up. Now, I am not lowered and probably never will because I use this as a delivery vehicle primarily......lots o miles every day!

Yes, the rear could come out further than the front. I'm no expert, but I would say no more than 10mm.

I am going to try and put new tires on next week, going to go a little bigger with some 225 35 R18. Hopefully they will not rub - but I am hoping to get a little more protection on the wheels as the roads here are HORRIBLE!!

18" HRE C96S w/ Eibach Coilovers

215/35-18 18x7.5 ET45 in Front, ET36 in rear. Lowered about 1.5-1.7. Rubs pretty bad in front. Needs camber/toe adjust which is super easy with the Eibach coilovers. The rear rubs with people in the back seat but rolling the fenders will fix that.

Will have 18x7 et 42 with 225/40ZR18 in about 2 to 3 weeks from now,
(wheel still on the boat from Italy )
will keep it at stock height with stock suspension for now,
but
will lowered around 1in with coil over suspension, 1.75 negative camber bolt and roll fender if needed later...

Wish Me Luck (so hopefully I can make it work without rubbing issue)
