Will these work?

eBay Motors: 16 ROTA J SPECIAL WHEEL 4X100 CIVIC MIATA MINI EXCORT (item 130231813972 end time Jun-24-08 14:23:10 PDT)

16". Offset +37. What size tire would I need to fit these? Would there be problems if I put springs on after the tires? Thanks for any help!

you should be able to fit a 205/45/16 on there without a drop with no rubbing.

if you were to drop it i would suggest a 195/50/16 to be safe

the reason i say that is because of the +37 offset

I do plan to drop it shortly after or before I get these wheels. I'll do what you say and go 195/50's thanks!

the offset is a little low i would check with ray or someone else whose running low offset 16's

i currently run a 16x7 w/ 205/45 on eibachs with no rub

how wide is the 16?
you may have to go with a 195/45 depending on the drop bro

No. Maybe 175 or 185 section tires not more than 23.5" diameter. Your Fit will look like a grocery store cart. Need 42 mm offset w/o drop or 45 mm w/drop.
Every one of the Fits who came in here with 195 or 205 section tires on offset wheels less than 41 mm rubbed! And it was more than 'a tiny bit'. And if dropped rubbed like heck.
Putting a spacer obn the hub to push the wheel spokes out past the caliper merely pushes the tire hard into the fender. If you limit your suspension travel with super stiff springs you will have a very uncomfortable ride.
Good luck.

With that offset, 205/45's will be fine with no rubbing. Maybe a TINY bit. Nothing to freak over. And since you plan on coilovers the extra stiffness over aftermarket springs will prevent rubbing.

The thing Id be concerned with is I remember someone a while back saying they needed a spacer up front due to those wheels not clearing the calipers.

I remember they were 15's but I dont remember the offset he had.
