I'm getting myself the ROTA D2's (16'7) for XMAS but I know they are a 40mm offset. What can I do to make these fit with rubbing (tire size, ride height...ect) I'm really bad at this. Thanks for any help.

Just get 205/45 16 tires, they should work without rubbing to much or at all. Or if you want to make sure they don't rub at all maybe running 195/45 16 would make sure that you wouldn't rub (this setup will stretch the tire a little so you will have better clearance near the fender). Personally run 205/45 16, you might have minimal rubbing.
