First off, why 17's? Id suggest some 15's or 16's. With 17's you may run into rubbing problems. Lowered or not.

17in tires arent that cheap, not to mention youll need a odd ball size to keep rubbing down.

Mike put these up a little while ago. Seems he still has them.
Not sure if he'd want to ship to BC? Wouldnt hurt to ask.

thanks for letting me know about Mike's sale. I did see his thread but I was looking for the TS model which looks and weights different.

As for why I'm going for 17s...
for looks
for possibility of adding a big brake kit after turboing
and for 4.4lbs/rim more than the lightest readily avaliable 15x7 Enkei RPF01, I'm not really losing tooo much in the performance department, no? I mean I'll probably track the car max like couple times a year.

I think the people running big brake kits have 16's. I honestly wouldnt suggest 17's if you want any kind of performance. Turbo or not.

[quote=paulw86;345459]Cheapest set of Kosei K1 TS 17x7 with or without tires, used or new

Three of the non-lowered Fits we have equipped with aftermarket wheels have been 17x7/42mm offset with 205/40x17 tires and they indeed look the best of any of the 15 16, or 17 " tire/wheel combinations so I agree with your choice. Yes the ride will be a little stiffer than 7x16/205/45x16 wheel/tire combination of similar diameter but entirely acceptable.
If you plan to lower you will need to have wheels 45 mm offset rather than 42mm.
I recommend two sources for those 17x7/205/40x17 combinations:
Edge Racing.com or DiscountTireDirect.com. Both offer a good selection and prices and offer mounting and balancing free of charge. DiscountTire also offers free shipping. I don't think either offers Kosei but check with them. And yes, you will see a little loss from the combination on performance. Mine also has rear discs and Hawk pads that brake as well as anything on track.
Good luck.

+1
Id say 15's, at the biggest 16's.

Very common tire size. Was running that on my Enkei's.
