Konig Supermesh Questions

So I think I finally have decided to go with the Konig supermesh in Gold. They are 16x7 with a an offset of 40. I am going to be running a drop with the Eibach Prokit So I am not sure it will rub or not. What tire size should I be running with this. 205 45 or what?

You probably won't get away not rubbing. When you drop the recommendation is 45 mm offset minimum, especially for 205/45x16 tires.

finally sam you choose a wheel you like.

hey im selling my wheels! you should save up for them

dude...just cut/roll your rear fenders, and you can carry as many people as you like son!

uh...go with the sportline man. you will be happier in the long run. the pro kit is wack. it wont look as good ya know?

you could stretch the tires. 195/45/16

or even 195/40/16. a bit odd ball sizes.but its no different then running 195/50/15 kinda the same concept.

Yeah that offset will make you rub even without a drop. If you have people in the back of the car you will rub for sure with a drop.

it wouldnt really stretch to much and it would look wack if his drop didnt sit right at the tire

sportlines drop a lot though.

i wouldnt recommend it if he got the pro-kit.

like the df210s...it sits a bit lower in the rear. so it would help a bit.

the proline drivability sucks though.

Jeff Q, you had the same exact set up the prokit and the konigs??? And you ran 205 45's? Cause the photo thread looks good. And how bad did it rub.

And James, what did you do to your fenders?

if you look at your rear fenders. theres this like flange. i just cut that shit off....and then sanded down my rear bumper for my wheels to never rubb with people in the rear.

you might have to do that for me. or at least assist. but I still think I have to go with the pro's it will be low enough. I dont really like any other company, not a big fan of Tanabe. and those sportlines dump it, I want a more slanted aggressive look and that is kind of what this drop gives.

but it has a huge gap...
come on!!!

meh...your car!

if you supply the grinder and disk...i can help you cut/grind the thing off.

or you can pay one of the s2k owners 100 bucks and he will roll all 4 fenders

ya 205/45/16 tires..same exact set up. it only rubbed on hard dips...nothing to worry about imo.
