a pic of an ssm with spoon wheels
Both the sw388's and regamaster evo's have long been discoutinued by Desmond. I can almost gaurantee that you'll never find a new set of sw388's but there are still a few NEW sets of evo's circulating around. ICB usually gets a few sets.
Please dont buy into this. Rotas are probally run on more cars then any other wheel in the world. You are bound to see some failures and considering how many sets are actually out there I think its amazing you dont see more, I'd almost go as far as saying they are above average. I've run Rotas in a few HP high stress applications and although I'm not running them now I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. This is coming from a guy using Volks right now... If you cant get some Spoons/Evos buy Slipstreams.

Im very serious I had a friend who had the group n the black with the red stripe you know the copycat mugen wheels. And on this particular night we went out to see who we could pick on for my birthday cause my birthday was on a friday and I brought out my turbo da, my friend russ brought out his type-r stripped to the bone crx, and my friend jae brought his turbo eg hatch, all with the plans on finding some guys out there street racing in my local spots to beat up on. we finally find a kid with a turbo eclipes spouting off his blow off valve. like he had something fast, so my friend jae lined up with him and took off and when he chirped gears from 1st-2nd his car dipped down on the drivers front and spun around, lucky it was late nigh and back behind some office buildings cause he could have easily hurt someone or his self when we ran to the car the spokes and wheel were seperated in two and he had this scared look on his face. I learned that night that you dont by copy cat wheels or cheap wheels cause in the end you are riding on them and your safty could be at stake, and the sad part is that wasnt the last set of rotas he bought that ended up in two peices I would have thought he would learn his lesson after the first time. And to make it worse when the track r's he bought for his wrx broke it cause him to have to buy a new front bumper get his car painted again to match and he had to buy a new L tie rod and cv shaft and they didnt want to compensate him for any of it and they wouldnt replace the broken wheel so I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM
