Question Sidewall flex/steering response which setup?

So I'm trying to figure out the best setup for steering response on the front tires, the wheels i'm getting are either going to be 15x7 +42 or +43 offset, i'm also contemplating getting 15x7.5 +42 or 43 offset wheels in the front, but i'm scared it might rub, so for the purpose of finding some answers disregard the 15x7.5.

So the tires I'm looking at are either the Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/50R15 or the Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R in 195/50R15. Here's the specs for both tires:

Falken RT-615 (205/50R15, Reinforced, 200 A A, W-rated)

Overall diameter: 23.2 in.
Section width: 8.2 in. (on 6.5 in. wide wheel)
Tread width: 7.6 in.
Tread depth: 8/32 in.
Tire weight: 20.8 lbs

Bridgestone RE-01R (195/50R15, 180 A A, V-rated)

Overall diameter 22.7 in.
Section width 7.9 in. (on 6 in. wide wheel)
Tread width 7.2 in.
Tread depth 9/32 in.
Weight unknown

So obviously the Falken has a bigger footprint which would help steering response, but I'm wondering because the Bridgestone's sidewalls would be stretched a little more than the Falken's would that make up for the loss in tread width?

Actually I just realized something if I did go with the Bridgestone's then I'd probably be able to get the 15x7.5 wheels and not have to worry about rubbing, right? Somebody confirm this for me.

So
15x7 +42 offset w/ 205/50R15 Falken RT-615
or
15x7.5 +42 offset w/ 195/50R15 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R

What do you guys think?
