The 16x7 is more common and is just as good as the 7.5; just make sure you have the correct offset: not less than 42 mm on 7x16.

What offset for 15X7? I found some refurbished RS rims in the $1k price range. Anyone know if that is a decent price?

The 42 minimum offset is for any 7" wide wheel and could apply to 7.5" in select cases.
$1k = $1000 way too pricey. Anything under $100 per wheel is fair game bot DisCpountTire has wheels for $85 each.
DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK CLEARANCE AROUND CALIPERS, HUB BORE< AND BOLT CIRCLE.

i'm pretty sure the OEM offset is 55, and the lower you go, the better it looks, but you run into small problems like rubbing, but they can all be fixed by rolling your fenders, doing little tricks, ect

ok thx , but I don't want to do a lot of modding. The only modding I will do is problably lower the car like you said to a better look and put a Double Din Kenwood DNX8120. Ok so anything in 55mm to 42mm I will be fine for no rubbing .

The minimum is the smallest number accepted for Fit wheels to avoid truoble on stock height. When lowered the offset number has to increase.
For 08 stock offset was 55 mm; for 09 53 mm.
Offset is the distance the hub is into the wheel. When the wheel center is lined up with the hub there is zero offset.
When I say the minimum offset is 42 it means the hub must be 42 mm outward from the hub. If the offset is less than 42 mm the wheel is pushed outward from the hub, meaning its likely to rub something. The safe range is between 53 and 42 mm for stock height and 48 to 53 lowered no more than 1.5" for wheels to 7" wide.
