[Konig Questions]
Tax returns are coming up and though most of it is going to bills and a t1r intake, I'm still setting some aside for the long overdue wheels (when I bought my fit used at 3k miles, the wheels had been roughed hardcore)
As much as I'd like to pull $2000+ out of my ass for some dreamy TE37 time attacks, I have to remember that I'm still a broke college student working 5+ days a week.
So I was thinking the konig bump (black/red) looked like a grand alternative to my monetary dillema.
my only real inquiry is how well can I expect a non forged wheel to hold up to my grandma driving, and has anyone had good/bad experience with konigs?
from what I can tell they're a step up from rota's and seem to have a decent rapport.
feedback is definately appreciated.

youll be fine. in fact, i recommend you get the konigs over the
volks for our cars. it's overkill.
im not broke, i have a decent income and can buy another
Fit if i want to right now but yet would not buy expensive
wheels for my FitS. how's that?
also, your T1R intake... imho, you're also wasting your money.
keep the stock intake and use the money on your suspension...
ie: EnduraTechs! to go with your new wheels. the stock intake
is fine.

i've always been a performance over aesthetics kinda guy.
i do apppreciate the feedback though.
i think the springs will have to go hand in hand with the wheels when that day comes.
if I recall correctly you have the H-Fit intake right?
is that any good?

well, i am too.
and performance...there is not much of on the FitS anyway
unless you get forced induction. so i would emphisize on
improving the appearance/handling/convenience portion of
the car and make it the best looking/feeling car it can be on
a budget.
i did run the H-Fit in the past, but i sold it to a member.
reason being i wanted to improve my stereo and adding noise
was not the answer. the H-Fit did improve some mid-band
torque but again, it's not so significant that you need to get an
intake for. that's just my opinion from trying a true intake on
the FitS. it's a fun mod though and makes the car sound good.

I got the Heliums in bronze from JLB, and I like them. 12 pounds each, plus the tires I got are rated for 51 PSI. I keep them at 51, and the steering is so much lighter and more responsive, it's like extra power steering. The downside is that the offset is not quite enough to keep them from rubbing once in a while, especially the rear ones.
I got the rims and tires, mounted and balanced, from JLB for $754, shipped.

I have Konig trafficks on my supra(they are Advan RG look-alikes) and have never had a problem with them. I had them powdercoated and refinished cause I was a crappy teen driver but they are still in excellent condition.
