Fender Liner Mod?

Hey All,

Ive been searching for a while now and havent really found much... Plus i'd thought a whole new thread for this would be benefital to others.

Anyone has more info on the fender liner mod (tucking the fender liner up)?
All ive found was that u unclip a couple clips and tuck it up. It would be great if I could get some pics of this too. Anymore info would be great!

All this is cause im rubbing like crazy, small bumps, tighter turns, etc. U turns are a bit of a nightmare.

BTW im on Pro-Cs w/the front tires tuckin about 1/4 inch on 15x6.5 +41 offset with 205 50 series tires.

Thanks!

EDIT: Figured it out when i took off the fender liner. Just had to reverse the order of the liner (tucking it under) Ill post pics when i get some time

Updated w/pics: (sorry for the bad pics)

Before

After

Hope this helps others!

Fender mod is one thing, but you might have to run with a neg camber as well.

Updated.

danger; Once i did the mod, i no longer rub too much to the point of having to run a more aggressive camber setting.

Did you take the two pop tabs out at the top to do this?

I'm going to do this to my Fit, but I don't know if I have to take all the screw/tabs out from above the side skirt to the last tab before the bumper screw or not.

Edit: It seems like you just removed the screw and its plastic clip and I'm guessing the pop tab in front of it.

I was wondering about this^^^ can't this cause some serious problems, at least with the front liners?

well, I kinda ran over a large curb... it tore most of the plastic off and I just took the rest off because it wasnt staying it properly. I havent decided what im going to do about it yet lol. Ill probably get the fender liners and the beatrush panel. Only real problem is the tires kick up dirt/water into the engine bay.
