16" on base Fit

I'm thinking of getting either 15 or 16" wheels for my 2008 Fit. I know most 15's will Fit with no problem. However, if I move up to the 16" size, will I encounter issues with rubbing or anything like that. The suspension is bone stock, and will likely remain that way.

i had a set of 16 inch 5zigen rims with 205/40/r16 as430 tires on my stock suspension base and had no problems with rubbing...may run in to some issues however if u go with a taller side wall. i now have 15 inch withs with 205/50/r15 neogens and i think it rides much better than the 16 inch rims did....its all personal preference however

I drive a lot, so my preference is for the 15's with the larger sidewalls. Just wanted to see if 16's would be problematic.

I have 16x7 +45 Rota Circuit 10 wheels, shod with 205/45R16 Toyo Proxes 4 rubber. No rubbing on stock ride height.

in my honest opinion, the 15 with the taller side wall rides much better for DD than the 16. its really all abt preference because either way you shouldn't have any problems

OK. How about 15" Rota Slips w/ 195/55-15? Sound about right? The slips I'm probably going to buy come with some Kumho 711's... only two though. I'm thinking about getting something like Yoko s.drives or Avids, as I need something fairly good in wet conditions.

yeppp 195/55 should work....i would ask around and search some more but im pretty sure. im on stock suspension with 205/50 and still have plenty of room so im more than positive that you will be fine. i haven't had any experience with s.drives or Avids tho :/ i had a set of another yokos that i really enjoyed so im sure you will be fine either way! goodluck! btw i love the look of slips
