Thumbs down Tire dilemma in Key West

I will start off by saying that Key West is a total fail when it comes to finding tires.
I had one of the tire places down here (Key West Auto Web) put in an order almost a month ago and my tires have yet to show up. I have been calling them at least 3 to 4 times a week and they've been lying to me.. So today I finally decided to just call around again and try to see if anyone has the 185-55/16 that the GE wheels come with but everyone says that they have to order them.
One particular tire place called me back and said that the only tires available in that size are $1,200 a piece.. WTF. Apparently they are a runflat with a 3" sidewall.. Even though the tire is only about 6 inches wide..

I finally ordered some through discount tire direct or whatever it's called.. Hopefully things go a little differently now.. FML.

I was going to recommend them or the tirerack. Both should list recommended installers, even if the installers are not in the area sounds like it would be worth the drive to get the work done elsewhere. GL

Do you have a GE?

You could try 205/50's ...they run find on my GE and are easy to find in various brands/styles.

I thought that might be case, as you might guess it has a pic of the GD.

To my knowledge, they are NOT runflats. The guys at the tire place are trying to milk you bro.

Tirerack FTW!

Yeah ended up getting 190/50-16 from discount tire because I guess the 185/55-16 are backordered but it's whatever.. Super fast shipping and I got them installed yesterday at a local place.. Just a cheap tire but they'll only be on til I save up enough cashola to buy some wheels..

I have a GD btw.. But with teh GE stockers..

And I know they're not runflats.. I don't think the guy was trying to "milk" me.. 90 percent of the people in the keys are absolutely retarded.. He sounded mind boggled when he said 1200 a piece lol..
