Anyone with 15x7 +35 wheels? Or Axis OG Wheels? Chime in!

Let me start by saying that I bought a fit because of it's practicality, it is cute, its a honda, and obviously the gas mileage. I used to be a hardcore Honda guy, specifically a mugen whore.

Back to the topic, one wheel that I have always been a fan of is the AX OG Sans. I love the mesh and the price is very reasonable. The closest size I can find is a 15x7 +35 wheel. I was wondering if anyone is running any of the AXIS OG wheels or any wheels that are 15x7 with a +37 offset and know how bad the rubbing is? I currently have 15x7 +40 and am about to return them because if i'm going to have to endure a little rub, it might as well be for a wheel I really want. Let me know, thanks!

It's gonna depend on what suspension you're running, how low you are, how much camber you're running, rolled fenders or not, and the tires as well. I ran a 15x7 +35 with the stock 195/55R15 Bridgestone Turanza EL42 or something tires with coilovers. The height was just a tad more than a finger space, maybe half a finger space, -2 deg camber in front, don't have shims so no adjustment in the rear, and unrolled fenders. I did bend the fender liner tabs up in front, and put the liner on top of the tabs though. That set up rubbed in the rear on dips, going up driveways, some bumps... not so much the front though. Hardly any rubbing in front.

I went a little lower next season, rolled the rear fenders, cut the tab off for the rear bumper, same wheel and tire set up, a bit more camber in front (iirc like -2.5 deg) and pretty much had no rubbing issues.

So I picked them up today and just got done installing them. I will get pics tomorrow. Currently, I am dropped on Progress Lowering springs. The wheels I got are the AXIS OG Sans 15x7 +35 offset in anthacrite. It looks pretty good and I did the front fender liner trick. Hopefully I don't get too much rubbing. I drove around the neighborhood and didn't feel anything. They look almost the same as my +40 offset wheels that I just removed as far as the "positioning" looks.

My bad, didn't know they were in demand. I'll get some pics in a bit... My car is super dirty though.

Want to see pics as well. I am on Swift springs so I'm pretty sure I won't rub. But want to see how they look.

any rubbing? im on 205-50-15 nitto neogen tires on a 35+ offset wheel and i rub on stock springs, and im looking to see if swift springs wuld elimidate that

With the above wheel set up, i'm on Progress lowering springs and RARELY get any rubbing.....

Quite interesting read this thread.....

I'm getting some Enkei NT03 15 x 7 with 205/50/15 and I'm lowered on Eibach springs so wonder if I'm going to get any rubbing.....

I'll find out in the next 2 weeks

I love the NT03. It was a toss up b/t those or the Konig Networks. And since a guy was selling the networks for cheap I bought them instead.

I was set on gettng some Rota SpecR (16") or Torques (17") but a guy on another forum I frequent asked me if I would be interested in some proper Japanese wheels and the NT03 was on the list he had available.

Although the NT03 were about the same price, maybe a bit more, I took the plunge and went for them as the Enkei are quality, JDM wheels. The NT03 have also been discontinued (or so I've been told) so they are rarer 8)

The NT03 are JDM Enkei wheels. They're very lightweight. Are they the ones that have a spider web look to them? If so, I had those on my old 98 Civic hatch back in the day. I had 16" and they were very lightweight... I was strapped for some cash back then so I sold them on craigslist for $450 with almost-new tires. The wheels were flawless condition too. I wish I just kept them because that person got a DEAL.
