Yet another TPMS post

Someone call me crazy. But I just spent the last 3hrs searching, reading, and I cannot find the answer.

Can the Fit TPMS module remember more than one set of TPMS sensors? If you install another set of tires do you lose the old set of sensors? All the thread I've read people are suggesting that you need to buy the ATEQ TPM QUICKSET RESET TOOL to reset the TPMS module each time you swap out your tires. This to me seem to be a ridiculous solution.

On my other 2 Acuras (RDX and MDX) we have a second set of winter tires with TPMS sensors and I can swap the wheels in and out without ever having to reset the TPMS module. Is this not the same case on the Fit?

It's possible that Honda has different lines of TPMS modules, some holding two sets, while others only hold one set.

I've not seen any mention of the Fit's module holding more than one set on this forum or elsewhere.

Well, so far so good. I've installed a 2nd set of new sensors on a new set of wheels. 65km ~40miles and no TPMS light. I bought the TPMS sensors from Honda so maybe if it's from the factory there is no need to reset the TPMS module?

Are you sure the place you got the sensors installed didn't program it for you?

the fit can only remember one set of sensors. you will eventually get a light. it will be the TPMS light and not teh low pressure light. it takes much longer for the TPMS light to come n that it does for the low presur elight.
