Arrow Winter Rims - Tire Rack Brand C1 & 185/60/15 (pics)

I installed my winter set of shoes to check the fitment and to break them in a little bit. I'm very pleased with them. The rims almost look like Works or those Rota rip offs. They weigh only 12.5lbs or so too and the finish is pretty good quality for $89 per wheel.

The wheels are TRMotorsport (Tire Rack brand) mounted with General Artimax Artic 185/60/15. The tires were $74 each with a $25 rebate.

The ride is smoother and quieter than my Goodyear Eagle GTs and the tire size actually raises the car up a bit which will be nice for the winter.

I'm not looking forward to winter but at least I will have a little peace of mind.

The offset is +42 on the rims.

Hey thanks! I never really did anything too crazy with it though. I like keeping it low key. I give major props to everyone on here who has the passion to do the mods like major body work, turbo charging and coilovers. I'm pretty much at the limit of how much I will mod this car.

Oh another thing, I changed out the manual transmission fluid yesterday (32,000 miles on the car). I was surprised how black it was. I filled it back up with some GM Synchromesh MT fluid. Wow, it shifts SO smooth! Too bad it costs a small fortune.

I picked up some 5W-20 Royal Purple and a Purolator PureONE filter for my oil change tomorrow.

One more thing, I've been getting a average of 39-45 MPG the past few weeks on the past couple of tanks. (That's with using a scangauge and double checking by calculating at fillup)

Synchromesh eh? I haven't read about people using it in the Fit just in the 88-00 Hondas. May have to try that.

why the syncromesh?
honda realeased a new MTF about a year ago (i'm getting old it might have been longer than that) that my tuner (cortney green) uses in his 1000 HP eg civic, dude swears by it and it seems to be the cats meow in my crx for track days (250 - 350hp) i'm just curious why the change?
your fit is bad ass and the snows are going to be a night and day difference in an actual storm, i need to find some 15" wheels for my snows off my GD for my GE this winter - i love my VSA and could talk for hours about how good it does in the snow - but i won't - i saw bring on the smow!!

keep up the good work

I don't have any particular reason, I like to try out different fluids all the time. My MT felt like it could use a change and I wanted to see what the hype was about with the GMSM. I have to try out the new Honda MTF. I didn't know about that.

I actually really like those wheels and at 12.5 lbs, $89 a wheel I will definitely consider them. Thanks for posting.

Thanks! They are surprising nice rims. I wouldn't mind putting some 205s on them and running them with all seasons in the nice months.

Sweet so that's what GT Altimax Arctics look like on a Fit! I just got mine in 185/65-14 and getting ready to have them put on some BMW Bottlecaps that I picked up for a song. Looks great.
