Rubbing................

Rubbing................
So, i ordered a set of enkei ev5 in bronze. the wrong offset was ordered initially (+38). i sent them back and re-ordered +45 (17x7).
im still getting crazy rub of my front fender liners during faster turns (not fast, but even fairly slow paced they rub) and over any moderate bumps.
1.6" tein springs (same as i have on my Si, no issues, 45 offset 17s).
is it possible that tire rack sent me another set of 38 offset rims? how can i check?!
is there anything i can do, other than use different springs? (1 inch drop instead of 1.6?)
thanks guys.

i just lowered the car tonight...... before lowering, no rubbing. lower 1.6", instant rubbing.
the car is low km, the struts with stock springs were fantastic: it rides great.
will going to a 1" spring fix it?
i get what you're saying: but if i do the struts and it STILL does it due to rim offset or spring height: then i should fix one of those also.....?
no point buying struts if they arn't blown....

The offset should be stamped on the back of rim. Did you have an alignment done? If not talk to the tech about camber bolts. Also bending up the tabs that hold the liner can buy a little room as it'll push the liner up. Hope that helps some

gonna look at the offset size and tire size when i get the car back from being tinted this aft.
if i bend the tab upwards as suggested, isnt the plastic bumper also bolted to that part?
i'll have to take a look. i really love how it looks, but even the smallest bumps make me cringe.
as for camber...... i really don't wanna go that route. this is my daily/winter beater. i was hoping to keep this simple, but i guess not.

none really out there. what are you dropped on? I'm on swift springs with 17 wheels and have not had any issues with fender liner rubbing even with heavy loads. I also drive pretty aggressively specially on turns/ramps.
