WA tire suggestions?
just picked up a set of wheels for way cheap. the rim size is 16x7 +42
i honestly don't really know squat when it comes to tires for cars. being that i live in Washington and see a constant amount of rain, i'm gonna need something that can actually stick. the tires i have now are complete garbage in the rain. even dry for that matter.
what would you guys suggest to run? i have a $400-600 budget for tires could go over that if they truly are worth it. im currently not lowered but will be in the coming months. im not opposed to modifying my fenders for rubbing if needed. i will also be turbo by the end of summer and i do drive aggressively.
i'll keep looking in the meantime but without any knowledge im pretty much stuck to half assed consumer reviews on various websites.

i save my aggravation for back country roads and the mountains. highways and city is not a very fun landscape to beat up haha

on a 16, go Conti DW if it needs to function in wet and dry and DWS if it needs to also work in snow. Those are far and again ahead of most tires in that you can drive them every day with relative comfort, and they will still function decently well when you put the skinny pedal down in anger! I also know numerous teams that keep a set as there "wet's" in street tire AutoX classes
