LS Mesh questions
LS Mesh questions
Sorry if this has been covered, but I've been searching and can't find it.
Just picked up a set of Acura LS mesh wheels on CL to put on my GD3.
Can someone confirm that I can use the OEM lug nuts with these?
Assuming I stay with 195/55/15 tires, do I need to be concerned about any potential fitment / rubbing issues? Looks like these are 45 offset, so I'm hoping -10 difference is insignificant.
I also need center caps - any tips on the best place get some (besides ebay)?
Think I got a really good deal. The guy said they came with his car when he bought it and he wants BBS. They were powdered/polished. 3 of them still had the packing foam /tape on them.

I have put these on older civics in place of the steelies and the stock lugnuts always worked no problems.
If you really need to be sure, remove a lugnut from your car and put it on the rim, look at the back of the rim, and see if the lugnut seats correctly.
If its any help, I have tuner style lugnuts holding on a steelie spare on the camry while I search for a cheap pair of 235/35/19s for it. That lugnut is definitely not intended for a stock steelie but it has held on for the last few thousand miles the car has driven
EDIT those 195/55/15s will be slightly smaller diameter then your stock wheels. zero rubbing issues.
Im planning a set of 195/60/15s for my 13 base

Yes you can use the stock lugnuts, 195/55/15 is your stock tire size and the +10mm should be fine. As far as center caps i'd just go with eBay or keep an eye out on CL or Honda-Tech Marketplace.
For anyone else reading this thread, I found that Honda Part #44732-S5P-A01 is a 58mm center cap that will fit. It's listed as being for a 01-04 Civic. There are a couple places selling them for $8-9 ea.
Will do, but it might not happen until next spring.
The tires on it now are almost gone and I plan to get winter tires on the stock wheels in the fall.
I plan to put a set of G-Max's on these wheels in the spring.
