buying used... help!

buying used... help!

looking at a set of enkei gf1s in 15x6.5 for $175 so i want them really bad. but he said one rim has "excessive wear in the lug holes" i know what he means but how does that happen and will it be an issue? if so how do i fix that issue? Thanks!

This worries me. Wear as in scratches is one thing but this could be a more serious issue. If the person used the wrong lugs this could have causes the wheels to have actual damage. Be careful especially if you cannot physically inspect these.

i am going to look at them tommarow. he said they will need lug inserts because the holes are oblong? but its only on one rim...

walk away from these. You are pissing your money away. That wheel will not center properly and cause vibrations. Heck it may even work the nuts loose.
