In other words, the worst tires I've ever driven on.

And that includes the bald Kumho ASX I got stuck on when it snowed before I had the opportunity to take the SSR's off of my Civic.
This is interesting. Tirerack is showing out of 143 customer reviews that it rates an 8.53 out of 10 numerical average and a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Tirerack - Hit 'Review' Tab

TireBuyer gives it a 4.5 out of 5 stars in their reviews.

Tire Review likes them --> TireReview

Hell, I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I like them so much that I had a set on my BMW 740 that I just sold a few weeks ago.

I currently have a set on my 2010 RAV4 V6 (AWD) now and a set on my 1989 Subaru XT6 (AWD). Yes, I like it this much. Oh..and an Altimax HP on my 1997 Subaru Outback Sport (AWD). In all weather conditions they work great. Actually, I can't wait for several inches of snow to fall so I can have fun again. And I still don't recommend them only because I rather people do their own research and make a decision based off that. I actually typed in 'General Altimax RT43 Bad' just so I could post up a link to a negative review of the tires. I got 'tired' (Pun intended) of looking. Perhaps I can help you --> Click me!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune!

I probably just look for different things than most, or have driven on better tires than most.

Old post I know and sorry to thread jack, but I ended up finding a set of 15" Mini OEM wheels (aka "holies" or R81s) with Continental ContiTouringContact on them. They were a great deal and I couldn't pass them up.

I'll have to replace two of them within a year but for $250 Canadian, not a bad find for wheels and tires that weigh 26.6 lbs apiece!! Grip is excellent even on cold roads and the wander at highway speeds is nearly eliminated

Sounds like a nice setup GardenGraham. And light too! Glad you like them. Any pics?

Posting the Volk CE28N wheels for reference later. At 6.5lbs a piece, I can't get my mind off of them. Trying to avoid purchasing these ridiculously expensive wheels.

Haha. Yeah those are amazing. What color were you thinking about for your Mystic Yellow?

Bronze! Because I don't like bronze. Just like I don't like yellow! My world is backwards and full of insanity because I tend to fall in love with things I hate.

Was playing with numbers today since I never did achieve getting a 14 second 1/4 mile time. Was wondering if I could change anything tire wise to increase acceleration. If I still had this 2015 Fit, this is what I'd do.
Current tires: 185/60-14 General Altimax RT43 (-6.1% change from stock 195/60-15). Weight 16lbs.
New Tires: 185/55-14 Vredestein Quatrac 5 (-9.1% change from stock 195/60-15) Weight 13lbs.

Tossing these numbers out for future reference depending on what a new Honda Fit will end up with. It's only for personal reference. I wouldn't recommend anyone do this but myself.
