I have a great carbon parts supplier here in AZ that has been doing both overlays and actual carbon parts for me and may others in the MINI community and I am trying to get him to do parts for my wifes FIT but he hasn't made molds for any FIT parts. I would like to entice him into the FIT market and need to give him some evidence of the need. Please post parts you see the need for, he has done everything from full carbon roof to small interior pieces. If I can show him the need I think I can get him on the forum. I can post a few pics of some of his work if I can figure out how.

Im pretty hardcore into cf so my list is long but here goes.

-oe style grill
-side mirror caps or covers
-eyelids for the headlights
-trunk garnish
-gauge pod cover(bubble over gauges)

Thats all i can think of off hand. Im sure i will come up with more later.

 

I'd really like the oem ground effects kit in carbon fiber. with a reasonable $ cause the one everybody else sell is much $.I'd like those f1 style eyelids in carbon too they look really good.

Is it carbon creations or something like that? I am a nice guy and would help out and be the test mule for some free parts. Got a Fit and a few Minis.

 

I would love the have to oe sport grill in CF, kinda like the mugan RR style.

Actually it's Jim at Rogue Motorsports. He has a site for classic Minis roguese7ens.com and does a lot of stuff for new MINI too but not on the site. With a couple of us offering parts for molds and parts for overlaying with carbon I think we can get him big into the FIT market and hopefully a vendor on this forum, and some nice parts for ourselve at very reasonable rates. If enough of us ask I think we can get some of these parts going soon.

I've seen the roof cap on the MINI it looks awesome, I didn't know if it would be popular on the fit. I doubt he would have that for his first FIT part though, but grill may work.

 

id buy a roof cap also.

I would be interested in a cf roof cap. I already have cf fog covers in shipping otherwise i would have been interested in those too. I would be game if he could wrap the oe grill in cf or just make the whole thing out of cf. I dont want to get rid of my red H.

I got ahold a Jim at Rogue to let him know there is interest for carbon FIT parts and he said he would be checking out the forum this week, so I'm hoping he will join and we can go ahead with some of these ideas.
