hrmm...This definitely shows my newb status to the forums and as a Fit owner/modder, but that might change things for me. What the approx cost of the lid then?

 

it was a dumb answer, not sure what lid you are/were talking about.

but what you see is what you get, look at pictures provided, and what the JDM console is before asking please.

 

some people have reported ordering the unit from different locations and it doesnt come with the sliding "upholstered" part that sits on top of the actual plastic arm-rest.--

I think this is what he's asking.

Can anyone confirm?

I'm paying for what's in the image, including the cute box it comes in, I will be raising hell if I see the image with the "upholstered" part and the product that arrives comes without it.

 

Right-- I would think that it comes with. I just saw a previous post where the guy had a center console that had a gray padded top and he said when he ordered the console, that it didnt come with a sliding lid, but that he had to order the part seperate. Likely, he ordered a different version or ordered one from some place that was "holding out."

I'm sure someone will comfirm . . .

Japanparts.com sells the lids separate from the console...they have consoles in black/gray or beige...the also have lids in black/gray or beige. I bought a black/grey console and a beige lid for my 07 Taffeta White with a beige interior. Lid matches uphosltery perfectly.

I will bet that the OP did not work out this deal with the idea that he would be sorting out custom color combinations to ship to specific people. I am guessing that his idea was "30 in, 30 out, I get mine, and everybody wins".

The part number from college hills honda is 08U90-SAA-KIT

 

Everybody but CuTeBoi. He's just getting the empty box.

 

If you google 08U89-SAA and 08U90-SAA you will see that there are several part numbers for the console and lid depending on variables like market and color.

Also keep in mind that the JDM console will not fit a USDM base model with an automatic transmission.

 

OK, I just received an e-mail from AJR telling me that the console is in stock, but they are awaiting the "lid covers" owing to a mix-upon the Japan end of the pipeline .....

So, does this console come complete as in the pic (I'm thinking it does ...), or am I gonna have to shell out more $$ to get the whole enchilada?

I'm confused ........
