EDIT: arp rod bolts are going into production. should be ready to go within the next few months. awesome news for boosted L15's across the land.

Kelso,

Hello. I just wanted to update that we are actively working with these currently and should have product available on the shelf in the next few months. Let me know if you have any other questions, or need assistance with any other matter.

Best Regards,

okay so ive been in contact with justin philips from ARP fasteners about them producing some rod bolts for the L15. today he sent me this email........

Hi Kelso,
I would be very interested in having you post a thread on the fit freak website to gauge interest for the 1.5L rod bolt. The ARP R& D department is currently looking into this project and has a 2007 Honda fit connecting rod at our facility but we would like to see more response from the general public. Typically we like to see interest in a product of 25-50 phone calls before we consider making it a catalog item. If you could post a thread on the website and submit it back to me in couple weeks we would be able to gauge the necessity for this product and perhaps speed up the production of the product due to large interest.

Thank you for your continued support,

now, if you would be willing to buy a set for a little more strength in your bottom end, post up in here. if there is good interest, i will send him this thread to put a fire under their asses to make these!! LETS GET THIS GOING!!!!

because putting new connecting rods would involve tearing apart the entire engine. rod bolts just require removal of the oil pan.

it would stgrenthen one of the weekpoints of the L15.
the gentelman that blew his motor with abuse and 10lbs of boost thought that this was one of the things that failed and caused the motor to blow...
Quick install... just remove the oil pan, new gasket and you have some pice of mind... small price to pay for a touch of resaurance in this expencive game...
hope this helps.... also if i am wrong plz correct me... im new

now evryone just need's to buy 2 sets and we got 14 sold...
